Hair, Hair, Hair, long beautiful hair...

Now look what I've gone and done. I'll bet your singing the title song from the classic musical "Hair', aren't you?

No?
Well, I am!
And as much as I fear this might make me look like an blog attention hog, it's really not my intention. But I do have yet another giveaway to share. This one is NOT for artsy blog candy though. No, if you have hair, you should be interested in this one. If you don't have hair, but know someone who does, you should be interested in this one.
I just received a small order from Sephora and I was sent a full-size tube of a new product to try that's not in the store yet. It's from a company called Living Proof. It's called No Frizz and unlike most other products aimed at taming the frizzies, this one has no silicone, so hopefully hair won't have that coated, weighed down feeling. The best part is that they sent two tubes instead of one with the suggestion that I share it with a friend! And I love to have more friends to talk skincare, beauty product gossip with!
I had chosen the thick to coarse hair option, so if that's you, this will fit you to a tee. If it's not you, we all know someone who has decried the frizztastic state of their coarse, wavy mane as they try product after product in an effort to tame it, so either leave a comment on their behalf or steer them this way. I'll draw a name next Saturday, February 7th!

This isn't a sample, but a FULL-SIZED tube of the line that will be launched nationwide in the spring and I'll throw a passel of other samples in this box just for the fun of it. (doesn't the word "Passel" make you smile?)
Another package going out on Monday is to my Year of Color swap partner and I hope she enjoys it as much as I've enjoyed putting it together for her. Even better than brown paper packages are pink paper packages, right? Lisa, the pink of this box really isn't as bright as the photo, so don't faint thinking your getting a neon pink horror. :) This little bit of floof will be going out to another friend soon as a part of a petite Valentine package....(pssst, she has no idea! Yet....)

you are so kind to think of your blog readers :) I'd love to give it a try... have been contemplating whether or not to cut my hair; this is the longest it's ever been!

Hi Casii! Oh, frizz! Not something I have to worry about so you don't have to put my name in the hat. My hair is totally poker straight, every-day-a-bad-hair-day where frizz would almost be welcomed to get it up from off my head without spray and blow drying and fluffing ad infinatum! :-)

Just wanted to pop over and say thank you for the sweet comments about my little bird box. I had so much fun making it that I'm making a little bird book today. Taking flight, so to speak! Hugging the Inner Child and telling myself to keep on flying, girlie!

Have a happy day! Cold outside: warm inside I hope!

OMG! Me! Me! You're probably too young to remember, but maybe you could Google "Diana Ross 80's hair" or "Roseanne Roseannadanna". Oy. I can either spend the hour with a hot iron (curling, not Black & Decker) or just pull it back into a tight braid. Great for the face-lift effect, I guess, but seriously...

I might have tried everything... but hope springs eternal!!

This would be perfect for my brother who always uses products to tame his frizzy curls. Thanks for the chance to win.

I just read about this cream in Instyle magazine. In fact, I was going to go to Sephora this week and look for it! I too have thick and course hair that frizzes. Or shall I say grows. Outward. Not a pretty sight. I am a hair product junkie. Always looking and trying to find "the" product that will work. I would love to try this!

OHH MY I would love to try this I have thick thick wavy hair with the worst frizz ever. The only way my hair looks right is whe a hair stylist does it. That usually involves a lot more product then I like. PLEase PLEASE pick me!

You KNOW I don't have a frizz problem, but I have two good friends who do. Holly has curly, curly, curly hair that frizzes, but I'm not sure hers is thick and coarse. Karen has not so curly hair, but she battles frizz every day except extremely dry, cold ones. I'm sure either would love to try this product.

And since you wouldn't come over here and drag me out of my creative slump (schlump?) I had to take drastic measures and purchase the Sweet Bella e-zine. Now I'll probably never make anything just like in the e-zine, but believe you me, I now know almost exactly what to do with that paper and fabric on my table. And it does involve canvas and vintage images. I hope to work on them (yes, there will be two) tomorrow.

I would love to try a new frizz product. I just started using one this past month, and it makes a huge difference! I have to be careful though, if my hair gets too dry before applying, I look like I rubbed crisco in my hair :)

Well, I'll put my name in! :D I have big Texas frizz hair, trying to tame it tomorrow with a haircut. I'm used to trying new things all the time, so why not? :)

Your little goodies on your other posts are GOR-GEOUS! Love those little button cards you made. You know I love all that stuff. :)

Love,
Jennifer

"(doesn't the word "Passel" make you smile?)"

Yes, it does :)

I have frizzy hair now living in MO. It blows.

That word does make me smile. I have thin fine hair when dry. Wet its course and thick. It knots up when combing through it. Its aggreviating. I don't have the "gorgeous" like everyone else.

I'm just an audery hupburn sorta type I guess.
